Color: Battle Blue Model Year: 2003 Make: Buell Model: XB9R Firebolt Condition: 7/10 Mileage: 63K+ Location: Nashville, TN Price: $3000 Title: Clear and in-hand History: I bought this bike used in 2003 with 4300 miles; it now has 63K+ miles. I use it to commute to work 40 miles one way, everyday; hence the high number of miles. Modifications: The bike is totally stock except for a few comfort modifications: 1) I have installed XB9S Lightning foot pegs to lower the pegs by 1". These pegs bolt right on without any modification. I still have the stock Firebolt pegs. 2) I have replaced the stock windscreen with a Zero Gravity Sport Touring screen in dark smoke color. I still have the stock windscreen. 3) I have added Buell soft saddle bags. These are the bags that come from Buell and are a custom fit to the Firebolt. 4) I have installed Buell Traction hand grips. Mechanical History: I have had zero(0) mechanical issues with the bike. I have changed the oil/filter every 5K miles using synthetic oil and I have changed the primary fluid every 10K miles using synthetic oil. Electrical History: 1) The stator and battery were replaced at the 20K mark by a local dealer. 2) The voltage regulator was replaced at the 40K mark by the same local dealer. Tires: I have been installing sport-touring tires for mileage purposes. I currently have a Michelin Pilot Road rear with 10K miles and a brand new Bridgestone BT021 front. Misc: Owner's Manual, Two(2) keys, Service Manual, Toolkit included PM or email me if interested. My BadWeb profile name is " Fdl3". |

Mm128: Thanks for the compliment. The XB line was definitely a turning point for Buell reliability. Vicfirebolt: Thanks for the compliment. 5K is not even enough to break it in! |

Reepicheep: hahaha....no! Well, I still have the 03 belt setup, if that is what you mean; I am just using the "upgraded" 03 belts. |
