I have decided that I am going to sell my 99X1. I've tried to convince myself that i can continue to ride it, but due to some back and neck issues, I just cant do it. I figured i would give people on this site a chance before i move it on to EBay. Bike has almost 12,000 miles so it has been ridden obviously. I purchased it early this summer from an individual that took great care of it. I have put about 2,000 miles on it this summer and the only issue was leaking rocker box gaskets which were replaced. Bike had a Force Streetfighter exhaust when i purchased it and would not run very well. I made an exhaust change and had F&S Harley Davidson in Dayton get it dialed in and reset the TPS. It runs very well now and has none of the hesitation it did have. Bike has the following mods or additions. - Baker gold chain drive - 200 series tire on the rear (tires 90%) - Pegasus seat - PM polished wheels - polished tail section - Supertrapp exhaust - Forcewinder intake - Jagg oil cooler - bar end mirrors - race ECM (also have stock) - new brake pads I am a 40 year old guy who takes care of his bikes and other vehicles. This bike has not been wrecked, dropped, or ridden extremely hard. It has had AMSOIL full synthetic run in it by me and by the previous owner as well. Also, with the addition of the JAGG oil cooloer it runs much cooler than a stock. I really hate to sell this as it is so much fun to ride and gets a lot of thumbs up and heads turned. I have a clear title which will be provided to the buyer on completion of transaction. I purchased this bike for $5,500 in June. I have also put roughly another $700 into it since purchasing. As with most bikes, I dont expect to get everything out of it that i put into it back. I wont give it away but I will make someone a very good deal on a very nice tuber. With the additions and modifications that have been made I feel that it is worth $5000. I also have other pictures of the entire bike that i can email potential buyers.Thanks for looking.  | ||

Still out there for sale. I rode it to work yesterday and I was thinking on the way home about how much fun this is to ride and how cool of a bike it is, but its gotta go. Paid the price for it last night with a pretty sore neck. Reasonable offers will be considered. | ||

Nlegrett picked up bike last night. I think he was pretty happy. Hopefully he will get to ride it more than i did. Probably wont be riding it for a while thought ill all the snow melts up there in upper NY. BadWeather bikers site was the right place to sell the bike! | ||

Scott - Glad I was able to help you in making more room in your garage. I do have to admit though it does look mighty fine in mine!!!!!LOL This will make the cold miserable winter around here much better seeing that I will have something to look forward to in the spring.
