If the muffler fits a 1996 S1 with a Buell Pro Series race header (2.5 inch inlet), I'll take it for $190.00.

Thanks for the pictures. My muffler doesn't have or need the elbow pipe attached. My muffler has a straight inlet only 2" long (and 2.5" wide). I could chop that pipe and maybe make it work but that'd be a shame. Thanks anyway. I think that pipe is for the '99 and later tubers using a stock headers.

Would you take 175 shipped? You do know they only last for about 5000 miles.

Do you know if it is a direct fit for the S1W with the stock header and do you have the part number?

Thanks

Mike

wayne,
i just picked it up last week and paid 190 on a dealers deal table, so im firm on that. (retail was around $340)
i bought it to get a different sound on my bike but decided against it...

ive heard a badwebber or 2 complain about that as well but ive got a few friends with this pipe that have many many more miles than 5K on it. my duddy daryl has about 19,000 on his!

the V&H was my first aftermarket pipe on my s2 when i had the 2" header and i got around 7000 miles out of it before i put the force system on it.
i sold it to a friend who still has it on his bike... so i dont believe that 5000 mile BS.
its all about how one takes care of their stuff...

mike,
i have the S1W header on my bike and it will fit mine for sure. (on my s2). i dont see why it wouldnt fit. it comes with the bracket and hardware.

let me know if your intrested. i have until tuesday to ship it then ill be out of town for 2 weeks.

oh, duh...

vance & hines PART # V16531.

its for 99 up tubers but it should work with any 2.5 inlet without the bend like S1W, M2 S3 X1.

I have 60,000 miles on my V+H. The old packings last 5 to 10 thousand miles so I packed it with stainless steel brillo pads. Packing now has lasted almost 35,000 miles and still sounds good
