No offense, as an X1 owner and a former Harley owner, I wouldn't consider going to a Hog an upgrade by any means. If anything, it's a considerable step down. Make sure to add fringe, skulls and dozens of " live to ride" tags. Oh, to really fit in, give up on personal hygiene. Don't do it! You will miss the tuber.

No offense taken. As Buell owners we have to get past stereo-typing Harley owners. While in the past I would have agreed with you, I think that their is a very diverse group of Hog owners now.

I think you can agree that riding the Buell for any length of time with the stock seat can be very demanding on the body. I know my wife has commented several times about needing a break after an hour or so on the road, just my opinion.

Don't interpret what I'm saying as being a negative. I dig the bike, very fast and fun to ride but, to ride a passenger and go for a long ride, the bike was not made for that application.

What you need is a Uly then, not a hog. I was in the same situation, then my fiance got on the back of a Uly. Well I bought one five days after that! We put 250 miles on it in a weekend (not a whole lot) but she loves it, and of course I am happy.
At least on a buell you can live by the ride for eight hours clean for one, instead of ride for one and clean for eight with a hog.
