Well, I had an iron head sporty motor shipped from FL to OK before gas went up and it was about $300. Try Yellow or AAA Cooper, I mean, its freight...looking for an LTL carrier.

individuals are screwed on freight shipments. i have had some motors shipped to me and individual rates were 40% higher than shipping through our business account. fedex freight, but our business does quite a bit of shipping.
good luck,
tim

If you have any friends in the airline business, some of them get access to deals on shipping. Used to date a flight attendant, got bikes shipped for $150...man I miss tha...I mean her.

Forward Air should be about $100 at $50/100# maximum rate, that is terminal to terminal in your own crate, not using thier crate. Im in San Diego, where are you shipping to?
