This is a brand new, never been used, or installed, Data Link & Key, purchased from American Sport Bike a year ago. I sold my beloved 2005 XB12R and now have no use for this. My loss is your gain. Includes software, cable, and ONE tuning key that will become locked to the first ECM it is used with. Use this tool to poke new values into your ECM lookup tables so that your air/fuel curves and Spark advance is optimally tuned. This is the most powerful maping tool made for Buells, with capabilities far exceeding anything that can be done with a Power Commander or Dobeck Techlusion. We include a tuning guide that gives detailed instructions on how to tune a Buell ECM using DirecLink. Works with either stock or Race ECMs. We HIGHLY recommend tuning on a Dyno and wideband O2 system. Remapping is a daunting task, and done improperly, you can blow up your engine. But done properly, this tool can make your bike run better than ever before. Hooks to PC using the DB9 RS 232 port. Laptops without the DB9 port will require a USB-to-RS232 adapter (Keyspan recommended, NOT RADIO SHACK). Bueller007, I spoke with John yesterday (05/22/07). I told him that I would be in from out of town business and would go to the bank on Thursday 05/24.
