i've got a 99x1 with the buell race header and muffler but my muffler mounts are not staggered like your D&D does any body know if this muffler will work, if so i'll take it. Vic | ||

pm sent Tom Chase you know your stuff, with the buell race muffler mounted the z bracket is eliminated.which i will need. Any thoughts if the D&D muffler is going to have a deeper throat to it then the buell race muffler? vic | ||

It all depends if the D&D pictured is a slip on, or for D&D's full exhaust. From the picture it looks to me to be a slip on, but I'm not positive. I grabbed a D&D can from the full system and had a piece of exhaust bent to match. Merried the two up and the thing sounds like a freak of nature. As far as mounting goes; the muffler pictured has a sort of collar around the can to which the mounting tabs are fastened...you can slide it back and forth to fit, but you'll need the Z. | ||
