With a feedback rating of over 500 you have been around the eBay community for some time. Snipping is a way of life in the eBay world. You put this fine motor for sale and the reserve was met. You chose not honor the price it brought. Don't bitch about the negative comments you get. YOU DESERVE IT! If you were any kind of a man, you would suck it up and realized you screwed up. Work it out with the bidder and get your dirty trash of this site. We are bikers and enjoy our Buells. This is not the place to whine about your eBay problems.

I think anyone should be able to link to or point out anything for sale on the web without some commie dictation going on, i dont like restrictions. After all we are bikers and it is about freedom, remember that?
Knowing feebay myself i can sum this whole thing up in a minute too.
OP waited too long to cancel the auction. OP should advertise locally. See its that easy. |

ive dealt with dozens of people on this website and even more on ebay.
Ive never had an issue with any of them.
ask anyone I have sold or bought parts from... some are now friends and some are riding buddies.
I screw one thing up and you all want to hang me...
My bad, i shoulda sold it to the guy but simply was too upside down with it and couldnt afford to loose the money. It is simple economics.
So lets please all get down off of the soap boxes and drop it.
I shouldnt have to defend myself or how I have dealt with any of you (which I havent dealt with anyone who has been kind enough to chime on in here on my post...(other than you dave, im sorry...)) but I feel that I have to because you all have an opinion about the sale of MY motor.
I get what you guys are saying. I get it. once more: My bad.
If anyone has any doubts to how I do business, please feel free to call me and I will discuss it with you. thats what you all want to do right? ask me what happened about my motor or is it that that yinz guys just have nothing better to do than post about the negativity? seroiusly. 4125126936. its my cell. im always around.
gimme a call, we can go for a ride and not hide behind a keyboard.
Im not a "bad guy" or even a "tough guy". If you would do a little research or bother to find out what this is about or who I am, you would know.
Im just an enthusiast. I love these bikes and will always have one. |

I will say this: Jsunstar, if you are serious about making good to David, the least you can do is arrange with ebay to pull that negative feedback you left him.
He was just telling the truth. It's not always easy to face, but it's the mark of a man.

So why would you set your reserve lower than what you would accept? Looks to me like you gambeled and lost, only now you are not delivering. |

wow, this is like a mini soap opera...
... who cares. relist it on ebay and try to get more. just be sure the reserve gets entered as you intended. Mistakes happen, live and learn. |

i dont need the money as bad as i did recently.
its going with my sporty to a swap meet on the 9th.
It will be appreciated there for what it is.
I have the build sheet, the part receipts, worksheets and the flow charts and all that to show what has been done to it.
I should do better there.

I've done a couple deals with Jason and had no problems. What I'm curious about is does anyone who thinks they have to bust his chops even have the money to buy this motor? Or just running their mouths to hear themselves? I don't know the exact details of what went down and I seriously doubt that anyone else did before jumping his post so I'm not going to judge the man but I just gotta know why people have to jump in unless their making an offer |

Seems pretty evident what the facts are... He sold the engine on eBay in a legally binding agreement. He broke that agreement. Then when the legally rightful owner of the engine left him feedback reflecting his lack of integrity, he had the audacity to leave unwarranted negative feedback on the fellow eBayer who he had just screwed. He got screwed once by mistake...that's forgiveable. Leaving negative feedback for someone and tarnishing their reputation when they're in the right is unacceptable. |

sir, youve put it all in perspective for me. and im sure the rest of the fellas are glad you have put me, yet again, in my place.
i put in for the feedback to be removed yesterday with ebay. if dave (and God) be willing, my vindictful negative will be removed. it was in poor manners and quite unlike me to leave it for him in the first place...

My post was a response to Alpha, rather than you, Jsunstar. Its intent was not to "put you in your place" at all. You're a man and you will act according to your own values. I wouldn't expect an internet forum to influence mine, nor others' actions to any severe degree. I will, however, commend you on removing the negative feedback. That, in my mind, seems the only remedy to this situation. |

I've bought parts from him too, and they all got well packed to me in The Netherlands/Europe. No problems either.
