Actually, that should have read, looking for a deal on a 2006 XB12Scg

I want to buy it as a surprise birthday present for my wife.

Her birthday is May 16th, so I hope I have enough time to get it orgnized - I hear the Scg's are scarce.

If anyone hears of any deals, promotions, or even used (I bought my Uly used with 650 miles on it), please let me know.

Willing to travel, but figure I need to stick with a CA specific bike

Cheers
-Jack

Ps - it's a secret, so shhhhhh

Rhino,
Give me a call next week after Tuesday.
Maybe I can get you a CA model?

Rhino,
I have a 2004 XB12R w/ a lightening tail, the low seat and have the low suspension set up in a box. I was doing this for my wife, but she lost interest. The bike has less than 2000 miles. Its black and amber. Its a blast to ride. The front fairing is nice for wind. The low seat makes the bike handle better , easier on the wrists. It also has the race kit.

Thanks for the heads up QBall, but I can't really do an out-of-state bike - needs to have 7500 on the clock in order to have it registered here.

BTW, we went to a buell demo day weekend before last. The wife rode the XB12Scg again, while I took a 9SX for a spin - wow, that motor is smooth. After we got back, I asked her if she'd take the 9SX out for a ride - I had a feeling she was gonna like it. Sure enough, she got back and said "This is the bike I want"

So it looks like she'll be getting a 9SX, Kick Ash, fitted with an Scg low seat

Now I need to decide if the 06 upgrades are worth the extra $$$, cause there seems to be a few deals on '05s - both new and used

Cheers
-Jack
