Author Message   Interex2050 Posted on Sunday, February 05, 2006 - 08:07 pm:        Anyone by any chance interested in trading a Miller Thunderbolt 225 arc/stick welder for a tig welder (with 110v input). Runs off a 230V single phase line, 25v AC 30-225 amp working current. The unit is mint (actually has not been used). Its much too heavy duty of a unit, and I mostly need to do tiny stuff with aluminum. As well as I don't have a 230v line running to my work area. Also does anyone know where I can get parts for a Emco unimat 3 lathe, in particular the vertical milling attachement and table. You might be able to get a 110v DC tig, but they won't weld aluminum. Go to my profile, and then to the website listed there. I weld alum. ALL day long. I was hoping that I was just bad at searching for them... BTW how much would it cost to have a 230V line run? Also... what other alternatives would I have? It's an inverter machine and will run on anything from 120 - 460 VAC although I have only tried mine on 220v. It's also very small and portable and has a ton of cool features. They are expensive but very capable and impressive!
