The stock rear shock on my 2000 X1 needs an upgrade. The shock seems to be too stiff, and when I hit the wash boards on the freeway, it bounces like crazy. Any suggestions on which shock to get, or what to do to the stock shock? I weigh around 185, and don't race the bike. I just want to be able to ride it without taking pain killers at the end of the day!

Thanks,

Dave

Start with trying to adjust it properly. I had to play with mine quiet a bit...but, once done right.....

Or, if you have already tried that route, you need to keep an eye on Ebay....

If I recall right, Buell had a recall on the rear shock for this year, however, if you need this shock I have it and it is in "like new" condition.
Just make an offer.
