I have a 99 Lightning X1. It has 20K on it as it just came out of services here in Fort Hood, Texas. It has Pegasus Clutch, Timer Cover, front and rear axle bolt covers and the trim add ons that go on the tail section. Racing ECM and carbon fiber rear fender, belt guard and pulley cover (all made by Buell). This has and is an awesome bike for me but I am looking for a newer '03 Lightning XB. I am an officer in the US Army and don't have the time like I should to up keep the bike since Buell put all there eggs in the XB basket. With (2) kids and two car payments I don't have any money but if anyone is interested in going old school with the tube frame that has an XB then I would like an even trade. As an officer in the US Army, integrity is the cornerstone of my existence and will not lie to you on any aspect of the bike or myself. If there is someone out there; mileage is not an issue as long as you have taken it in for annual services because I have done the same. Even though I am an Aviator, I am not smart on motorcycle maintenance therefore everything that I have done to the bike has been my a certified mechanic. | ||
