Saw pics,
Bike is VERY nice,
wouldn't mind having it for myself and I'm not a big Harley guy.

The new ones are overrated when you can get a nice old one like this.

To bad you have to sell.

I'm sure he won't trade for a Buell so I won't even ask,
but I will ask if at least one pic of it could be posted here.
I like old bikes.
Thanks.

Yeah its hard to see the bike go , thought i would own it forever. Credit card debt says otherwise. No trades. Pics on the way, was asking $13000 , but most people think thats not fair. I dont understand why though. Panheads sell for 12000 barn freash RUSTY AND CRUSTY. They need everything. This bike isnt rusty or crusty, runs good and everything is in good , rebuilt or new shape.

tank- if you dont understand sticker pic up an iron horase magazine issue around 1992 : )

One last thing , people that see these pics claim they dont do paint justice , paint is over a silver base so its lighter in the sun. At night or in the dark you can see the blue gets very dark.

MMI - nice ride! I spent enough years riding kick start, drum brake bikes to know I will never do that again, but that would make a great bike for some young guy that still has good knees! By the way, it loods like the frame is actually from the early 70's, it's definitely '65 or later, and if it has the tab for a padlock for the fork lock, it's post '69. AL

I have never looked into the frame year, however the swingarm is -58 so all the old stuff is there in the back or should I say new or rebuilt old stuff and hey thanks !! : )

side3 doesn't look like a fork lock tag, but it could have been shaved off by someone.

Nice bike. If I got it I'd probably swap the rear fender for a full hinged unit, kind of like those. But as is it would do just fine for my not so young me. Besides, any youngsters buying that wouldn't have a clue what they're getting into with the drum brakes, especially if it's a cold damp dewey misty morning. .

I'd say you're good on the price. If you want to compete with the Pan pricing then you'd probably have to get a little more retro with the bodywork on it. There's a rusty crusty stock pan locally in a shop (owner's bike) that he wouldn't sell for $18K, and he's been offered that for it in cash. It's a funky market right now.

The pics should help move it.

thanks, but i gota say I learned how to ride a motorcycle on this bike when 17 years old. The back brake is not bad if its in good condition and you are right moisture can cause a problem. The front brake has always been weak on these you know it is a cable brake. No fork lock not cutt off either. Im really pissed I didnt get more people interested in it late this summer as I slowly brought it to market. As far as im concerened this price is subject to change, and go higher!! : )

You know thiers alot of people that have always thought panheads are made of gold and alot of people that laugh at those people and say thats bullshit pans aint made of gold. Good pans have had expensive machine work done to the , updated valve seat, updated cam bearing, new case race exaust flanges etc etc this all gets done at about 50 bucks an hour and aint cheap. Besides that they are rare and are beautiful.

Most people dont know motorcycle mechanics instit. used to use good panheads to demonstrate head milling!!!!!!!! That practice stopped along time ago!!!!!!!!! Way back then a new mechanic used to get a free flathead motor when completeing harley davidsons training. Ofcourse that stopped a very long time ago.

The only downside to owning a bike like this is the fact that every hole in the world wants to steal it. Sometimes its spontainious, most of the time its an elaborate attempt : )
