Hi, You'll see the 53 series on bikes and sleds. They go 90,100,114,128,&143 with different exhaust turbines to match. The bigger series are for cars. I have two intercoolers from two different setups. One went vertically along the left side of the bike on a S2. That one is long and the other is more square. I could sell you any of the stuff separate.

Hi, FMJ , I did have the long one mounted in the first edition, you could do a BWB search, I'm sure I posted a photo of the setup. I have not used the square one. Remember , I don't need no stickin' intercooler I have water The above photos give the dimensions.

I meant were they large enough/have enough flow for your application. And how did you figure it out?

I have several research books and there is wealth of intercooler information on the web. Try Bell intercoolers. If you are at 1400+cc's I doubt these will be big enough. They were made with space and cosmetic considerations without considering absolute performance. Don't you run a intercooler now? I would have thought you have figured out your CFM's and flow requirements if you were shopping for an icooler. Tell me what your Cc's are and the series /size of your turbo and I can tell you what internal cross section area you need for the lowest boost pressure drop. However you need to consider the intercooler mounting site. Because there is the cooling air flow that needs to be addressed. From there you make compromises in internal air flow, external air cooling exploitation and placement of tanks/ inlets and outlets. Have one built and it will cost $500 and more. That is why for me water is better. Aquamist, 5000PSI jetting, into the inlet track and no intercooler flappin' in the wind.
