Author Message   Johnk3 Posted on Saturday, July 02, 2005 - 12:53 pm:        see the pic in my profile. it's the second generation headers and pipe. Unfortunately they are too loud for me. I really like the sound, but I can't ride my nearly as often as I want to; just way too loud at 5:45 in the morning. New these will cost you 950. Mine is used and there is wear and tear on it. Still looks good, but could really use another ceramic coating on the megaphone portion of the pipe. If so I think the acutall muffler part is from a car "megs". Is the name I think. Might be able to buy better baffles. Or wrap the baffle with packing for mufflers. Or wrap the baffle with steel wool --- check the cleaning section at Home Depot.
