I know it's not a Buell but I need money for go fast stuff for my XB, Anyway this is a Vintage CZ european cafe racer style, with all of the original parts. I have modified it with the narrow bars and the seat hump. I have the original tool kit manual even the Russian hand towel and spark plug as well as the passenger pegs and reflectors and other stock parts that I took off. It is an oil injected two stroke with a removable baffle. I have Polaroids of it coming out of the crate. Runs Good I dont know if the mialage is miles or Kilometers but I have not ridden it much. It just sits in the garage behind the display rope. It needs a good home. An excellent conversation piece often discussed over a Pilsner Urquell! Give me a call if you are interested. Ray Townsend in Johnstown Colorado $700.00 970-587-2526. The pictures I have would not fit in this posting. If you e-mail me I will send you a couple ray_townsend@yahoo.com

Neat bike, nice condition, unbelievable price - $700 is most likely a super bargain.

Here is some interesting stuff about this bike. It is Russian. It has a shared Kickstart and Shifter lever which actually work great. You push in the shifter then flip it backwards to kick it. You must tickle the carb to start it like an old Triumph. It has a plunger style key for Park, or lights on off ignition On off is the plunger action. It has a toggle that you throw for a full battery disconect. It has a linkage that works the clutch for you when you shift while moving. And a hand clutch to get you rolling. It has a neutral between first and second but first is all the way up. It also has a neutral beyond fifth for "Coasting on long down hills" per the manual. The chain is totaly encased in a housing with o-ring gaskets. It has Lucas electrics- yes the prince of darkness lives here. I have not had a problem with it since I cleaned the points and the terminals for the fuzes. These had cosmoline or something like that on them that was not cleaned off by my friend Dave when he uncrated it five years ago.
Give me a call at work if you want her 970-267-5238. Yes I could sell it for more but I think that $700.00 is a fair price. These old bikes are not gold and are not any more than they were new. Your expectations will be met if you see her and ride her if you understand that this is not modern Buell

Minor point here, CZ and its sister factory, Jawa were made in the Czech Republic (then Czechslovakia) not Russia.

Regards

Steve.

Note I guess my geography is off a few miles : )
the manual says CESKE ZAVODY MOTOCYKLOVE STRAKONICE that seemed to be Russian to me.
In the manual it states," The motorcycle you have just purchased was made in the biggest engineering plant in Southern Bohemia, the Czech Motorcycle Works in Strakonice" Where ever the hell that is.
