Phat's probably right, Bensford. With what you got on it, you'd be lucky to see 85 RWHP. But a pretty bike. Good luck.

I never claimed it was RWHP, the company doesn't give RWHP, so I am working off the factory numbers and the given improvement percentages, so the numbers are not "fictional", but thanks for being being "that guy" so we can get that over with.

i'm sorry if it were taken that way, i'm not trying to be "that guy"..... infact i was considering buying your bike and wanted to clarify what had been done to the motor........ if it indead (sp) had 100+ hp (sorry but rear wheel numbers are what matter to me) then i would have made you an offer... but since it dosent, i will still up 57's offer a bit, i'll give 2800 for it???

>(sorry but rear wheel numbers are what matter to me)
there aren't a whole lot of bikes on this board (well, Buells ; )) with 100RWHP.

Who's K&M anyway?

>the given improvement percentages
Where do you find peak HP improvement percentages for your mods? None of them will increase peak HP much at all.

How hard is it to get 100hp out of the crank? Especially since both my Buells came that way from the factory. Now to get 100RWHP is a whole different story: D

I'm not sure you'd get 100 crank HP out of an M2 with only those mods would you? If the cams were swapped you would, but otherwise...

>cams were swapped

But he has the stock M2 exhaust header. 'Course he claims he has "Race Exhaust..." at one point and "White Brother racing exhaust"... both of which apparently mean the slip-on muffler.

lake, i belive the number on the late model m2 is 91hp at the crank...and with those mods, you would probably around or even over 100chp... but i dare ya to name a shop other than the factories that have a dyno to measure crank hp.... this is the real world, and in the real world we use rwhp... plain and simple..... the only people that care about crank hp is the factory so they can make the numbers sound good...
josh, if his cams were swapped, i think he would have stated such, being that is a selling point, i sure would...and yes it is a stock m2 header, with a slip on... which the late model m2's did have the 2.5 in collector, so its pretty good...

I've been on this board for yrs but been gone awhile now. It still amazes me that people always advertise M2's as "over 100HP". Bensford, the pipe and chip dont increase peak HP but it will shift the curve a little. ANd someone always has to correct the seller. "Youre bike doesnt have" or "I'd be surprised if". Nice bike BTW. I'm just surprised that guys that pretend to know about Buells continue to pretend theyre going to sell a Buell to guys that actually know about Buells. Just my $0.02 though.
