For Sale 1999 M2 (with M2L seat) Texas bike Black with low miles. Hate to sell her now since I just got her how I want her but I found another toy. It's been upgraded and had all recall updates performed including new shock, tank vent and tank hold down. I bought this bike bone stock and over the winter had the man Phat J at an unmentionable HD dealership perform the following work: New rear isolator bushings, new front motor mount, new front brake pads, upgraded to metal rocker box gaskets to run synthetic. Trans serviced with synthetic. Spring loaded X1 front foot pegs. Dyno jet carb kit, Forcewinder intake, D&D pipe, upgraded bracket, race module, Screaming Eagle triple platinum plugs. Have dyno sheet, stock hp= 59.54 with 64.68 ft. lbs of torque. Now it puts down 73.06 horses and 72.44 ft. lbs. Got her out of winter storage and added PM wheels, a tach kit, Banke shifter/brake pedal, new stainless header and the extended mirrors. Has good D208s on and is ready to ride. Has normal use, small paint chip on tank and some fine scratches that could probably wheel out. I also have a like new in the box tank bra that I haven't put on yet. I put a ton of money into her this winter but she don't need a thing now, just a new home. Looking for $5500.00 obo. E-mail me direct at: Largewood@aol.com

Thanks

Do the tires stick better in the corners with all the Armor-All? Maybe I'll try that at the track.

No armor all, I just washed the grass off of the tires to try to provide decent pics of the tread. But if you want, I'll slick em up real good for ya.

An 02 M2 for $5500.... HAHAHA. Does that price include the lube or is that a "dry" price??? Or more likely just some armor-all.

diem24, if you don't like the price, make an offer if you get the cash to back it up, if you aren't even in the market for a bike like this then please keep your sarcasm and opinions to yourself. Maybe try getting a friend or going out for a ride to occupy your time would help. But stomping on my post isn't helping me and can't be doing anything for you unless your self esteem is so pathetically low that this makes you feel good about yourself. If thats the case I feel bad for you. Ether way, my price is negotiable so please put up or make an offer, if not, please just have some respect (for your yourself and for others who post here)and leave my post alone. I wouldn't waste my time searching through other posts knocking other peoples asking prices.

I sincerely apoliogize. I buy around 10 bikes a yr, ride them and sell them when I get bored. I was trying to be funny and I offended you. If you want to sell it, I'll give $3000 for it. It'll cost me a couple hundo to get it back in IL, otherwise my offer would be more. My cell is 617-828-0151 if you need it. Again, sorry for offending you.

I appreciate your apology. I'm sure that you can appreciate where I'm coming from. If you're willing to offer 3K then you know what it's worth and what you'd try to get out of it when you try to resell it. I'm sure you know what a new D&D, dyno jet kit, forcewinder, race module, tach kit, isolators, rocker cover gaskets and etc. cost plus having it dyno tuned on top of the cost of a stock bike. I'm not trying to make money on this, just trying to come close to breaking even. Don't want to loose too much on it. That's why there's the OBO after my asking price. I can part it and get more for it but would hate to part her out, ya gotta admit, she looks sweet and has all the right stuff. I just picked up two more bikes and a new FX4 so I need to let something go. This bike will make someone a very happy rider. Not too many bikes you can just turn the key and ride without having to put money into to get it how you want it. As I first posted, it's had all the recalls done, been serviced and replaced any wear items replaced if they needed it or not so that when the weather broke I'd be able to ride all season and not have to deal with any down time. Now I'm on an X1 that's almost new and the other M2 I picked up because my buddy needed a motor for his so I'm parting the rest out. In the mean time, I need to move the above mentioned M2 because I have too many toys. My apologies if I ranted too much about your comments but as I said, I'm sure you can appreciate where I'm coming from on the issue. I respect your integrity and appreciate your apology.

I am willing to put the stock air box, pipe, foot pegs, and module back on if someone just wants an almost stock bike for less money. It'd still be an excellent rider with a dynojet carb kit so no more intake spits from running on the lean factory settings. I also have the stock height seat for it. Price is negotiable and delivery is possible (for a price) if you're between MI and TX. I need to go back to Dallas for a bit.

OK guys, here's how it is. I'll go $4750.00 as it is or $4250.00 for it stock still keeping the carb kit, tack/speedo set up and shifter from an 01 M2. After this, she goes to the chopping block. Please e-mail with questions/comments.

Alpha,
When you chop it up, or part it out if you don't use a torch ; ), post the parts list in the parts section with asking prices and put in a link in this thread to the parts thread. I'll be real curious what your net take is on the parts and to see what parts you have left over once the dust settles down. Thanks.

For what it's worth, I parted out on 01. My buddy needed a motor for his so I bought a very clean 01 M2 so that I could get him his motor and pick a part off here and there. All I have left is the frame and most of the body set but I haven't put them up for sale yet either. The bike was bone stock, no add ons or updates. I'm not going into exact dollar amounts but this is how I know that my bike will bring way more than my original asking price in parts than complete.
