Corbin Seat Backrest - $150 OBO

backrest2

This backrest has been recently re-covered to near new condition by Dan Ballard of Bitchn Stichn Upolstery in Loveland, Colorado. It retails for $249 on the Corbin Website where it is listed as part #297. It will attach easily to all "Gunfighter and Lady" Corbin seats as well as many other Corbins.

Buyer pays only actual shipping costs via USPS or UPS.

You know something is wrong when the seat is cheaper than the backrest. What is Corbin thinking?

Dan, I never understood that either. The seats used to be much more expensive. IIRC the seats used to be like $380. About 8 months ago the slashed the prices down to $229. But I don't think they ever slashed the prices on the backrests.

For that matter, it doesn't look like it would be THAT hard to build one from scratch: a piece of ~3/16" thick by ~1/2" wide x ~12" long steel, a piece of 1/4" plywood hot-formed to contour, a piece of good foam rubber, and some naugahyde and staples.

Anyone ever tried to make one?
