I have decided that I have too manny bikes in the garage so here it is. My RS 1200 is for sale. It is complete and in good shape but has a few chips in the paint here and there and both front and rear shocks need new seals. I can provide pics if desired. $4400 firm.

Dan,
Post a pic of it, there may be a lurker looking.

And post a pic with the rest in the upright position, never seen a pic of one with that up.

(And yes I'm back online, thanks Blake for regaining my access.)

So those handle two-up adult riding okay? Might make a nice S2 companion. Wonder how it would fair as a trade for an M2.

How are the ride and ergonomics of an RS compared to an M2 and S2?

(Wonder if Dan knows what I'm sidestepping into since he's heading up this way in June.) ; )

Ride: is going to be a bit chopier.

Ergo: Interesting question, you'l not been through my "hang a plumb bob out your butt" class, have you?

I'll spare you for now and just say that the RS will have you more stretched out and more "compacted" (more toward a racing position) than the M-2.

The RS will also appear to steer (it's the "plumb bob" remind me to tell you at homecoming) slower and will want you to think a bit further ahead of the moment.

If you are wanting definitive information about two-up gigs, talk to Josh. He and Mariabelen are probably the most experienced in two-up. She sleeps most the time on the bike, but Josh is awake most the time.

I have seen his happen. She was not banging on his back, so she must have been asleep.

So it could work then, possibly, maybe, will have to polish up my finagulator unless an FLH or ULH comes along first.

Thanks.

She's only been on the RS a couple times (seems when I'm on it she's on her Blast) but she loves the backrest on the RS and FJR. Don't know if it will help her fall asleep faster or not ; )
