2000 buell m2 5500 miles. molten orange. comes with buell saddlebags and buell custom seat. bike has a d and d pipe, yost power kit, ebc front disc and pads, touring bars, and 2002 tach kit. also has a carbon fiber givi mini fairing... i also have the original. new tires, avon azaros. bike never has been down or abused. runs excellent and strong. asking $5000 OBO. i am in the atl area. any questions call me at 404-664-6114. i love this bike but i have to sell, baby on the way!! | ||

Orng, Sadly at $5K it probably won't sell in the current market unless it's on consignment at a dealership. The market for M2's seems to be hovering between $2500-$4500. More than $4000 and you have to have a motivated buyer and a dedicated seller and a very nice bike. Fast sales seem to happen around the $3500 price point for a nice bike, sadly. Good engines seem to go for $1500-$2500 on E-Bay if they are well presented, which makes it difficult to part with a complete bike for $3500 when you can get over $2000 for the engine alone. When I was thinking of parting out my M2 I had potential offers totaling up to a bit over $1800 without an offer on the engine, so it wasn't to my "do it" point at that time. The best advice I could offer would be to talk with Daves or Clown or one of the other good dealers/sellers and see what they can offer you for it. You're best bet might be to consign it to a local decent Buell shop, your quickest option would be to cut your losses/hassle and lower the price to best offer or get a direct offer from a dealership which will probably be $2500 cash or possibly up to $3500 if they know you and are hoping for a future sale. Such is life. It might make the most fiscal sense to just park the bike and drop the insurance on it and don't ride it until your new baby is a little older in a year or so and things settle down some. But that's something you have to decide upon. Hope you and your's have the very best in life, enjoy the newest one in your family when he or she arrives. We just had a direct relative bring a new little boy into the world a month early, a little rough at first but things are good now, a little bundle of joy for his proud and happy mom and dad. Life goes on, and parts are parts and bikes are bikes, but the newest little one will be your joy for a very long time. Enjoy the journey, and try not to fret the small stuff. Hope all goes well. That's why I bought the house and the R before I had the kid...  Congrats on the rugrat though. They're a blast! Now if only I could find a pocket bike built like my 12R... | ||

if you do end up parting it...i NEED the gas tank, if it is in good shape! you would possibly make more by parting it, hate to see it happen, so many choppers being built from them. | ||
