i know these havent been produced in years but it doesnt hurt to ask, im looking for blast rearsets, im looking for professional ones (like crossroads) and not something that was slapped together with 20 gauge aluminum and 80 washers lol. if nobody has any ill fabricate my own using the xb shifter and a set of rearsets off another bike

It’s so coincidental that you’re bringing this up now. I’ve been reassembling my bike with an intent to address my rearsets with a little modification.

Of course I’m not done with stenciling a newly shaped backing plate. I’ll be welding everything up and repositioning the brake master cylinder and pedal too. Then there’s still some grinding and smoothing the welds and then body filling, sanding and painting both sides. That’s the fun of modifying these little bikes. And if done correctly you keep it’s design cues And authenticity with only the subtlest performance enhancement. Like a ‘57 Chevy with a 2 inch chop. Still gorgeous but an unmistakable enhancement that just accentuates it’s beauty. Yeah I’m grease monkey till I die.

I may even shorten them a little more if the finished product locates the foot-pegs too close for ground clearance on deep leans

I’m starting the other side now. First step is removing the backing plate with my angle grinder and 1.6 mil metal cutoff wheel. I’m going to use either side as a stencil for the other basically so I’m assuredly as close to symmetry as possible

I LIKE YOUR IDEA!!! keep the y arms but bend them back, thats the first time ive seen that done! defiantly a unique design. i want the y arms completely gone personally because i hate the way they look. i was thinking about buying some cheap $20 rearsets i found for a ninja 250 and the xb shift linkage and see if i could fabricate some kind of mounting brackets to the frame behind the y arms.

nice work though! id defiantly like to see the finished product
