American Sport Bike sells them for the same price as the mfgr and are a BADWEB sponsor - they work very nicely - Enjoy!

Gren - Like the bob'd tail. I was thinking of doing that myself.

PS - you should paint the rest of the frame under the seat blue too. Not the peg support part, just the silver frame component under the seat. ; )

Naustin,
Thanks. It's pretty easy to do if you've got a Dremel. : )
I was actually thinking of going the other way, paint wise. I ordered a can of Buell Titanium color frame paint and was going to paint the sides of the tail piece to match the peg supports. I still might, I'm not sure, I kinda like it like it is for now.
Want me to upload some close-ups of the tail?
Anyone else curious as to how I mounted the taillight/plate?

Blasting when it's not raining (stupid Florida),

Superglue? The horror, the horror... We're bikers, we MUST use duct tape.
If only they would make duct tape in flat black...

Hey guys, didn't forget about posting pictures. I just haven't had any time and the rain (stupid rain) has put a damper on things. I'll take some pictures this weekend.
I need to angle the license plate one way or the other because I road a wheelie the other day and bent it.

Please post a link to the stack please - tune your carb properly and all you'll get is a hella honk on shut down - totally cool sound! Outerwears makes stack filters - 0.005 filtering - inexpensive and you can get them in different colors as well! (link in links section)

That sound is MUCH cooler than the gasping when you forget the ziploc. lol...
Not ragging on you, man. I KNOW I'd forget, probably half the time. I don't wake up completely until the bike's warm.

Ok, as i have no idea how to let you guys directly see my bike on these forums, i will have to post the links.

http://img86.exs.cx/img86/3527/blast-2-for-web.jpg

and

http://img39.exs.cx/img39/4412/blast-4-for-web.jpg

It was lookin pretty nasty, a couple weeks without a bath, but i didn't feel like standing in the rain so i could wash it. Not much on it except the Kerker exhaust and taking the belt guards off.

Very nice small details as well - mirrors, ditching the seat strap, etc - and though the Kerker delivers no more power than a V&H - its potential with modifications is excellent!

Actually, the seat strap is still on, its just hard to see in those photos. But that is a good idea now that i think about it.

Rays side car Salt record holder and just all around tight bike - revisited the salt this year - persistance is definately a virtue, and it is still one of the most Beautifull Blasts you'll see!

Terry Parson's Blast looked very tight as well this year, also his second visit to the salt.

Both bikes are awesome and a lot of work and thought and work went into each!

Stay tuned - Vader and Maul evolve! - lol
