I recently purchased a 2007 blast with 2700 miles on it. It is now close to 3500 and a couple of problems have come up. It will start up in the morning perfectly and runs like a dream. But, after getting warmed up it starts to get an attitude.

I made a post yesterday describing my issues and EZ said to inspect the intake coupler and ground wires. I checked today and ground wires are tight with no corrosion. Had some help removing the air box and carb to check out the boot, no visible cracks even under a magnifying glass. Put everything back and took it out for a ride, and the same thing kept happening.
The symptoms are as follows:
-when stopped and rolling off throttle the engine stalls
-makes one loud click when trying to start, but doesn't crank at all
-when she starts back up I have to stay on throttle to keep her alive.

And just today for the first time when at a stop sign it was idling fine, then as I started to roll on throttle it stalled. Started her back up and it happened again. Then I rolled on a little faster and it didn't stall. Any and all help appreciated.

It does sound like a bad ground or loose battery cable (one click on start) or bad safety switch (s).

Nothing seems loose but I'll tighten anyway. What's the factory torque on the ground wire bolts and battery lead bolts?
Also, how would I get to the front ground wire?

Just tight is good and clean (no heavy rust or foamy acid on the terminals).
Do you see where the front ground braided strap is on the front motor mount? The torque is around 33ftlbs, but it just needs to be tight.
I don't think that's your problem, but you have to start there.

Gearheaderiko, I saw your post and I apologize for the confusion. I had two car mechanics listen to the click several times over the past 2 weeks. One started tapping the solenoid with a wrench after several tries. Today we tested the solenoid and they said that it was fine.

Is there any way to reach the front ground bolt without removing the tank? Would a mechanics shop have tools to fit up there? I've checked everything from the fuse to the battery to the starter, so the only thing left is the hard to reach ground bolt.

Try just taking the tank cover off.

Tank is easy to remove, but I'll try and remember to take a look to try and determine your difficulty reaching it.

The 9/16" nuts and bolts pictured are the ones to make sure are tight. They are accessible without taking the tank or cover off.

Bike still occasionally makes one loud click when pressing starter button. It runs fine once it cranks over. I tightened all of the bolts pictured above, charged battery, and made sure battery leads were tight. I just picked it up from the shop today after getting fork seals replaced. The mechanic said that he thinks its the starter. I really don't want to pay for another repair, so if you guys can think of something else I can tinker with I would really appreciate it.

On a happier note, the stalling was due to a low idle. A slight turn of the idle screw and that was fixed.(not sure if I used the right terms)

Starters on Blast do not go bad. I would check front and rear grounds and battery connections - positive and negative - seriously they all need to be tight, and the front one needs to be clean and oil free as well.

It was indeed the starter solenoid. Replaced it and the problem disappeared completely.

You are special - the first - period. Guess the bikes are getting old. About time something new happened to one.
Congratulations!
