My '07 Blast has an interesting issue. Starts and runs just fine, but after a half hour or so, the neutral light starts to flicker then goes out. Still runs and shifts fine. Can still shift into gear and into neutral, just no light.

If the bike is shut off and it sits for a while, the light comes back when turned on. But then it starts to happen again.

Bad bulb? Some type of sensor shorting out? Thoughts?

My guess is the sensor is loose or going bad. An internal trans problem is possible (shifter), but its not at the top of my list.

Starting to happen to me as well - but after an hour or so of riding for me. How do I tighten the sensor - where is the sensor?

thanks,
Jay
