We are ready for our week long ride. Thanks to this forum we, adjusted the clutch, changed the oil, adjusted the primary drive chain, and changed the transmission fluid. The Blast runs great. We bought an extra carb boot, and spark plug. We are ready to ride. Cheers. | ||

We are heading west out of southeastern NY, with no real itinerary. My wife, and I and two friends. We're gonna do about 300 miles per day for about 5-6 days. It'll be a tour of New York state. St. Lawrence River, Cooperstown, Adirondacks, there are no schedules. I can't wait, with the excitement there'll probably not be a whole lot of sleep for me tonight. | ||

Newblaster - yeah...me on a Concours, wife on a Blast, buddy on a Beemer GS, and buddy's friend on a Honda Hawk. Have to finish packing...see ya. If I ever figure it out, I'll post pictures. | ||

My son just picked up a 2002 Blast as his first bike. What a fun bike to ride. I have a 98 S1W but that Blast puts a smile back on my face when ever I ride it. Bike is stock but looking to install a aftermarket pipe and re-jetting. One thing we would like to get now is the full hight seat. Anyone have one at a good price? | ||

Check eBay, they run 80-90 there...i've found alot of good stuff for the Blast in eBay (like the billet speedo plate, yum!) | ||

Was just looking yesterday, didn't see a seat, but someone had the pro series exhaust and (I think...) the intake on ebay. Someone on here may have one, though. |
