Hi..I'm a new Blast owner and I want to take the bike club racing. I've got a couple of questions..Will the bodywork from a 2004 Blast fit a 2002 Blast ? Anyone running a steering damper and have a source for one ? I've seen the Blast racing thread and it mentions a Pro Flo steering damper..can't seem to locate that site or item.

I asked about this when I was over at GearheadErikO's house and noticed a steering brace, but I didn't recall a damper. I asked about getting the parts and he mentioned the company that made them was either no longer around or quit making them.

The bodywork for a 2004 blast should work on a 2002.

It's hard to locate parts for the blast these days, or buell in general. Not sure where you'd even find one.

I'm not sure if the occasional wibble-wobble I get when crossing from one road surface to another (socal's patchwork asphalt-and-concrete freeways) is need for a steering damper or just that my front isolator mount bushing is torn.
