Ok. I'm asking in here FIRST before I do anything stupid and make it worse : )

Scenario: Going into first gear from Neutral CLUNKS real loud and even sometimes grinds slightly.

Scenario 2: Going from 1st to 2nd GRINDS like a sob. Quite embarrassing lol Sometimes if I catch it right it slips in without much violence. But that's rare.

I've done the primary adjustment at 12 flats out from spec.

Now I'm a ROOKIE at this so be gentle with your terminology lol.

Concur! Thanks Chris!

FWIW: After adjusting everything as best you can, you can almost eliminate both crunches. After practice they'll both be gone.
If you've had any experience with dirtbikes or "Jap" bikes, THIS IS NOT a dirtbike! I mention that because I was horrified to have lent my Blast to a friend only to watch him jam through the gears like he was on his Honda 250. A 500 thumper gets people thinking its a dirtbike and they treat it accordingly. Its a Harley. Gentle but purposeful shifting is required. 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 should shift real easy. 1st and 2nd generally suck, but they dont have to.

By 'adjusting' are you referring to something other than just the Primary Adjustment?

The clutch adjustment. It's adjusted first down under the clutch cover and then on the cable. Being that i don't really want you taking anything more apart just yet, just check the cable adjustment first. Its very subjective too (or maybe vague and confusing). If the idle is still high from a cold start ,it will likely crunch no matter what. (with practice though it can almost be eliminated).
