So here's the deal,
My '05 blast is killing me. I'm a first time bike owner and can work on mechanical stuff if I have to. I come back from a 2 week trip and she wont start. I plug it up to charge overnight and the charger says its charged. I hook it up and still nothing. The lights turn on and everything, but no turning of the engine and no fire up
The battery is not the original, it roll starts and the clutch pops fine to start it on a hill, but I have no clue what to do next. Iv read the threads but am kinda lost here
Calling in EZ!

If it roll starts and keeps running, you're in pretty good shape - it's only the starting system: switch, relay, starter....
Before you do anything, buy a shop manual. It will be your best friend as long as you own your Blast. It's chock full of good diagnostic procedures.

Until it arrives, however, you'll need to wait for EZ, Swampy or GearheadEricO.

I narrowed it down to the clutch safety. Reversed the plug in the fuse box and she fired right up. Now i just need to know how to fix the safety. All the wires seem connected.

The clutch switch is on the handlever. It can be tested with a voltmeter (or other suitable device). If you feel the need to fix it (not all motorcycles have this feature and it's relatively new to HD products). Sometimes bypassing one safety switch fixes the problem when a different switch is actually bad. I don't think that's the case here, but it's early and I might be still asleep!!

Hey Mgkoret,

As Gearheaderiko posted, I was having the same problem as you. Lights on, but nobody's home. Take a look at the end of the thread at the link he posted and let me know if you have any questions.
