How to remove the rear exhaust bolts? I know several of you are going to recommend me changing it to an aftermarket, but I'm keeping the stock one. Anyway, it seems to me it would be a lot simpler to have one long bolt that runs the entire width rather than two little ones whose heads are hidden. Any comments?

I've used threaded rod before. You cant just run one long bolt and one nut. You'll need a nut and bolt on each side (2 nuts each side if using threaded rod).
