I have an odd issue on my 01 blast. The carb has been rejetted with the pro intake. From what the bike feels in the transition from needle to main jet in 5th gear the bike seems to lean out. At ~<65mph WOT the bike seems to bog from over fueling. If I down shift at 65 or less the bike seems to pull fine to rev limiter.

I seem to notice some mild coughing at idle even while warm. I expect an adjustement of the a/f screw should solve this issue.

Lastly it seems I hit a false neutral between 4/5th gear.

Any ideas on the transition fueling? False neutral?

Does it just seem to loose power?

Almost like something is binding up?

It is probably your ignition module.

It won't present itself fully until the bike dies for no apparent reason while you are riding down the road, then you let it sit and it starts back up and is OK for a while
