Okay, so this isn't really a problem per se, but it IS annoying!

I cant upload a pic right now, but will later if I have to.

On the front wheel, there is a piece of metel wiring, about 2 inches long, it is wrapped around a tube of some sort, something else.... I cant really rememeber right at the moment.... The point is that it is not connected to anything.... When idling and riding, it rattles, and makes a clanking noise, similar to as if your keys were hitting something repeatedly.....

I know this is prolly not helpful info without a pic.... but if you know what I'm taling about.... what is it? Can I remove it?

Will upload pic later!

If thats what it is, you can remove it or not worry about it.

Yeah... it's not really "connected" to anything, but it is wrapped around a thin hose.... I guess I can get a little bit of electrical tape (1/2 inch or so) and just kinda stick it to the spoke of the wheel or something.... just so it wont rattle!

Uh, yeah, a picture. Attach that piece to the wheel spoke and you'll rip you brake line apart. If its just the brake line holder, it can be removed without much worry.

Let's play a game I call Mindless Speculation. I'll go first.

This thing is supposed to be attached to the spoke, aligned radially. It's a small primitive centrifuge. To what purpose? That's for the next speculator !

Mindless speculation is a lot more fun than facts. They just get in the way of a good discussion. Though you lost me at "primitive centrifuge" LOL! That must be sum thar technicular wordz.

Those little stick-on weights come in pre-defined sizes. Maybe the previous owner wanted something more precise...

With the wire, you can calibrate it is fine as you want, simply by filing off a few thousandths of an inch !

Apparently it broke off from the brake caliper bolt. Just remove it. You won't have any trouble unless that hose is rubbing on something.
