My Black '00 Blast has something wrong with the engine that is beyond my time/ability to fix and the local stealership won't touch it with a ten-foot pole. It could be something minor, I have no way of knowing, though. She ran beautifully and fast. She has what I believe to be the full Pro-Series mods, re-jetted. New rear sprocket and drive belt. I took most of the plastic bits off, but I still have them lying around. If you're in West Texas, swing by and pick it up as a project, if you like; Otherwise, I'm entertaining offers on pretty much all of it. | ||

I'm really not sure. It's black, double-ended, with flared tips. It looks nice and sounds amazing. Even my hardcore HD fanboy father likes the sound. I've been working under the assumption that it's a Buell Pro-series, but I don't actually know that for sure. | ||

Do you have the Under tail and do you know if it would fit a 02 Blast? | ||

Welcome Brian! All Blast "undertail" (rear frame assembly) sections are the same, though some are black in colour. Many are also bent as it seems they bend easy from a drop/crash. Not sure why you need a new one, but if its tweaked just a little, its easier to fix with some shims (the tail section and seat will fit better too!). PS 99.99% of parts from all Blast years are interchangeable. The were very few changes made and most were just upgrades of individual parts. | ||

Thank you for the info. Who ever had it before removed the whole thing and stuck 1/2 the plate under the tail light and moved the turn signals in. It will not pass the PA inspection the way it is. I found one on ebay for an ok price. Thanks for the info on the parts being interchangeable. | ||

Good news! (For me anyway) Someone's offered to trade me their stock Blast (Thing's practically new, just needs a little fork maintenance) for mine, just because he likes the Black. He's "got a guy," for what looks like it may be a pushrod that's gone out. So... no more parts in the offing... I'll now be looking around for any kind of customization I can get my hands on! | ||
