Hey guys, bought an 06 blast about a week ago off craigslist for $1000(chaching) and changed the oil and tranny fluid,(was running on a half quart of oil, YIKES!). Anyway when I am accelerating and only when I give it some power I hear a clicking sound on the left by the primary. Now when the bike is running on the stand, I noticed the left foot peg is loose and jingles, but I don't think it would do that with my foot on it riding. Any thoughts?

Do the primary adjustment by the sound method.

Ok, so I run it for 30 min. park it on the kickstand, loosen the chain limiting screw until I hear change in sound, and then tighten till it goes away, and that will do it?

Thanks EZ, that took care of it. BTW what would the symptoms be of overtightening the chain, I don't think I did but I was just wondering.

Loss of top end, drop in idle, bogging when idling and taking off with no throttle.
