Havent talked about these in a while but since they are very adjustable going from almost clip-ons to pull backs.....
It seems the ticket is to use an extra set of handlebar clamps as risers and the bars should clear the tank. Possibly grinding some off the adjustment points that hit the tank may also be beneficial. It looks like that will give you full adjustment.
FWIW: Without any modifications it used to be that only a couple of adjustments could be had. My bars are now cut down to 26" so I could really only make a guess at it. I do however remember that when they were new how difficult it was to get them to clear the tank and lock the steering.

and I realize this may be old news, but these bars are just very cool giving you the chance to find the best fit! (and they take a crash well)

Also the grinding of a 1/8th inch off the offending knuckles then just using some Rustoleum Gloss Black paint for touch up makes them infinitely adjustable and bringing them down to 26" and angled towards you and down a tad - very comfey! And makes lane splitting easier!
