it was loose. so i grinded too much off. i can't believe it still works. there is little metal left on the bolt side. i am going to have to buy one new, i pm tom from bumpus hd. hopefully he will hook me up. | ||

Well, if you only ground the shifter down and not the splined collar, you can drill and tap a hole through the shifter and into the splined collar. That'll get you by for a while (or a long time depending on the damage) until a shifter arrives. | ||
