It was time to replace my original $14 tank bag. I had been looking for some time for another inexpensive, adaptable alternative to the expensive tank bags produced. This new one was stumbled upon at Ikea of all places. It is a semi-hard bag designed for...I don't know what, but it was perfect for my needs. At $12 it fit the budget requirements and needed only a few modifications to attach the front straps off of my old bag to this new one. Being a hard bag it holds it's shape and is much more water repellent than the old soft bag and only leaks moisture through the zipper, naturally. It also has tons of room and a few internal pockets as well as a divided strip of elastic across the bottom which I use to hold my tools in place. It was a perfect fit. Here are pics of it installed. I hope it inspires more of you to be open to inexpensive alternatives to what is usually a very pricey item. Enjoy! ~Johnny

Cool - I've never seen a bag at ikea that wasn't huge and blue. Looks good. |

Where does the front strap attach? You could also loop the front around the frame. I'm a big fan of cheap and utilitarian, I'll have to check one out |
