I've been lurking around these boards ever since I got my 2003 Blast back in Aug. just never posted before.

The weather is finally getting nice here so I got the chance to take the blast out last weekend. After passing a tractor on the road I looked down to check my speed and the needle was pointed to zero. All the lights on the speedo still worked, just the odo. stopped recording and the obvious speed problem. So I immediately figured sensor issue. After reading around a bit on here I figured I'd pull it and try and clean it first. Did that and tried it out yesterday and still nothing.

So I know how to change it, (actually with a 3/16" allen socket and enough extensions you can get it from the seat side) but I'm not sure what the part number is, I've seen a few different numbers called out and want to make sure I get the right one.

I believe it is 74431-01b, but I also seen that this was replaced with Y0199.K as the updated 5 volt regulated version, and even 74402-95B as a part number.

So which one is it? Thanks
Thanks,

Yes - the old should just unplug and unbolt and the new version should just go on in the same manner.
