There are no baffles - a totally open system! As loud as any loud big twin system!

I'm sorry - I don't have the capacity for that - however, if someone wants to - let me know and we'll see what we can work out.

EZ, Thanks again for the BBQ yesterday and for getting to ride the two monsters you have in the garage. Now all I can think about is that Force exhaust. I can imagine constructing the header quite easily from various pipes of the specified dimensions, but is the can itself just an open cavity consisting of nothing more than the flare and the little closure at the end? That seems like it wouldn't be all that hard to complete as a custom copy job. I could even duplicate the smooth rounded header that was on the other Blast, but add the steps. Are there really no baffles or anything else in the can? Riding that thing around last night really sparked my interest in doing a custom job. A big part of this motivation is indeed to do a custom job and have fun in the process, so while the Poor Man's Force is an attractive option I'd really be interested in putting something together myself, especially if the Force is really nothing more than a stepped header with a flared can. Whatcha think? Am I in for a world of hurt or is this doable and economically feasible? I just can't get the sound of that Force out of my head (or the image of those wrestling dogs). My hearing was fuzzy (not ringing, but that other white noise sound) the whole ride home!

Has anyone tried having an exhaust shop make a stainless straight pipe setup for the Blast?

I have seen a few pictures, I always thought a front pipe from an XB9 wouldbe the way to go, but the LSR pipe Ezblast has is a proven piece that works.

The measurements are on the exhaust cover page, what more would you like?

No - the necks are pretty universal. A beginning can be had with any neck cut off found at an HD shop, then you start altering from there, bring the id down immediately for the first step for that small length, then go from there, stepping at the desired points. Then take a radius bender and create that ever so gentle curve. Use a strap bracket similar to the Vance & Hines to hook up using the stock mounting hardware, attach muffler, then bracket muffler to rear mount - done. The trick is the bend - there are only 2 approaches that will work - a radial bender or a master with a torch - as you can tell by the picture its just one smooth bend. It cost Terry a lot of money by a custom exhaust expert to whip that puppy up for the LSR races, so when he gave it to me, I was just floored! It is an awesome set up.
Terry Parsley gave me his old LSR header - I connected it to a 4" supertrapp as he had - it was simply made with a constant radius curve ending straight towards the back of the bike - here are the specks as measured twice by me and my buddy Scott to make sure -
Measurements for the LSR Header Exhaust combo:

Top of header from the Head - od x l: 1 1/2 "x 1 3/4" (I'd say its a built in torque cone, but the master - TP - says it is for the 1st reversion) to 1 5/8" x 8 1/4" to 1 3/4" x 8 1/4" to 2" x 10" to a 2" x 3" m/f connector to the exhaust. The final bend is 2 3/4" from the end and total length is 31" plus 2" (2"x3" coupler) of what the coupler adds to the length - a 33" header to the exhaust - add the 2" to the end before the bend as well - lol - the constant loop you could have bent from a conduit bender - its that smooth a curve - then a slight bend to make it exit under the bike evenly - the result is a very rapid acceleration curve - that beats all the other exhausts I've tried - the only two I haven't personally tried being the Kerker and V&H - I have their dyno #'s though and the Bub has /had simular hp and had better torque - lol - if you want any particular dimension ask and I'll answer tommorow after work. This combined with the 4" Super trap with the 2"header fitting using all 12 discs is the bomb and the sound awesome - a total of 99 bucks plus the custom bracketry I fabed up - if you want pics of them let me know - the total system just rocks -

The Suppertrap really adds to a great sound as well - without being loud or obnoxious at only 12 discs used.
