Rigid frame=buzz box. It is Thors Hammer (original Blast name-Thor). Donít plan on this being a low rpm Harley engine. Plan on running it to redline often.

I don't know where this will wind up, so here:

The SO has a Buell Blast, but something is amiss in the electrical system, sometimes it just dies. When this happens the entire bike seems to go to sleep with the engine. I have checked the battery by replacing it with the one from my Blast, checked all the ground connections, checked as much as I can electrical 12 volt distribution. The bike will go along fine then just die. Cycling the side-stand up and seems to get it going again. I have a spare side-stand switch, I will install it today, but I thought that only effected the ignition, in my case everything seems to go dark.

Anyone had this issue? If so it will help me save some time troubleshooting time.

Bad ignitions - common on 2003 and earlier.

I need all your helpóI need my motorcycle back on the road ASAP. Iím stuck at re-indexing my Daytona Twin Tech timing rotor for my 515cc build.... can anyone/everyone help?

Everything you need should be right there. Some of it will be a leap of faith, some of it youíll understand. Having all the parts side by side can help you see the differences and similarities.
If youíre just using a single notch rotor it should be simple. If youíre using double notch rotor (twin rotor) then itís only a little more complicated.
Tips: you donít have to immediately renotch the timing cup. You can blank out the original notch and then place it on the camshaft to put it in different positions to help you work it out.
