Hey Guys..!?

I unpack my Turn Signals today (from Drag Specialties), and found out that there is three wires to the lights; Blue, Green, and Black.

I think the Blue and Black will run as normal turn signal lights, and will fit into the current wiring.

I assume that the green should be connected somehow to the running lights, but what is the best way to do this and where I should connect the green wire too..??

The green must be for the breaklight positive - insert there.

Theck them out well... There should be a bright and a dim filament. You want the bright filament to connect to turn signal power, and the dimmer filament will work as running lights. You can connect it to headlight power in the front and running light power at the rear.

FYI:stock lights can also be turned into running lights (in case anyone reading this at a future date thinks they need to change turn signals to get running lights!)

"Scotch locks" are the simplest way to tap into wires.
They'll have them at Radio Shack and maybe Pep Boys.

Hey...Eric...Thanks for the info..but do you know what color is the wire power head lights and running, and the head lights there is a high beam and lower beam. I assume that for the front it should go with the low/normal beam right..?!

Scotch licks AKA wire taps are the way to go for an east install... One suggestion, do not intall tem too close to a connector, because if for some reaon they hould fail, you will need ome room to plice the wire. yes, I'd tie Into the low-beam headlight power. I have no idea what color the running light and headlight power wire are, but I can find out this evening if you haven't found a wiring diagram by them.

No yelling!
Do you have a test light?
BK is probably ground. Did they come with instructions? Do you have a manual?
Bright is brake or turn signal, dim is running lights.
As long as black is ground (test it) you can just hook the light up to the battery to find which is which.
For a simple hook up, just wire into the tail light.
Turn signal leads should plug into stock wiring.
Running lights - tap tail light wire.
Take the time now to understand the wiring diagram as it will save you lots of time if you get into trouble later.
There are also several easy to read books on motorcycle wiring. It will make learning the electrics very easy and your next projects (Blast or non-Blast) that much better and easier.

Sorry about the caps words..I forgot this mean yelling...

Any how...Eric I know basic wiring..the R/Y, BK, O/W is actually in the Tail running Lights on the Blast..

The wire in the actual turns signals is BK, RD and Green.

I know BK and Red will go with the Stock wire. the green needs to connect to the running light, so the choice is R/Y, BK, O/W on the tails light.

I got this info in the Blast Manual, but I need to confirm this on the bike.

Bk is ground
R/Y is the stop lamp - See how it connects to the stoplight switch in the wiring diagram?
O/W is the running light

You can confirm this at connector number 7 under the seat or at the connector on the taillight.
