This bike is really fun until the carburetor leaks fuel into the airbox (the empty pocket to the side) this and the carb will sneeze NOW when the carb sneezes it will sometimes kill the bike completely or just work its way through the sneeze and keep on running.

This is my first bike and i'm not a mechanic but I've got tools to try for a DIY.

I really like this bike when it runs but this carb is getting in the way.

From observations of the carb - small pools of gas will accumulate after several minutes (maybe hour or two) in the airbox AFTER having driven the bike.

Sounds like a sticking jet.
Don't take the carb apart!
Run some Seafoam through it and see if that cures the problem.
I would suggest posting this inquiry in the Thumper section of this forum. This section is Blast specific and there are many knowledgeable people there who could give you a better diagnosis than me.

am assuming this is a keihin c v carb? i know them well.. seafoam is NOT a good idea, no miracle in a can is for bikes.. get on you tube and watch the video for goin through a cv theres alot of mods that need to be done to it for any and all applications, to get sneezes and coughs gone for good. I mastered them years ago and won't install anything else on ironhead shovelhead evo buell and soon with some fun casting a panhead and a triumph. no special tools needed just clean surfaces rag on a tray and uninterrupted work time/space

the float bowl overflow and bowl drain lines should be roted to the bike bottom not the air box and over flow says one thing as its intermittent float settin not correct.. sneezes and coughs are inherent but can be solved do these blat carbs have an adjustable accelerator pump?
