Hey Court. I just came in from giving my '08 Thrust Blue Uly some much needed love. I remember when you posted on here that you had bought yours and that you considered it at the time the best motorcycle you had ever owned. It saddens me to see you've got it up for sale, my only hope is that you find a buyer that will appreciate it for what it is. Myself, i can't imagine ever parting with mine, but i understand everyone has a reason behind what they keep and what they part ways with. If I could financially swing it, I'd buy it myself just for the chance to shake the hand of the man who has contributed so much here and to Buelldom in general. I still drag out my 25 Years of Buell book you and Dave wrote every winter to help get me to the next season. I recall fondly the support you and others gave on my trip to Parris Island to see my son graduate a Marine. All done on my anniversary edition Uly. Again, thank you Court for carrying the Buell banner as proudly as you have. And may I suggest that if you have an extra copy kicking around, throw in an autographed 25 Years of Buell. It's a fitting match for your Anniversary edition Buell and will help give whoever is lucky enough to snag it a glimpse into what makes their new bike special. |
