Yep . . too funny . . . I keep running on to folks who know the story of our house. Someone stopped by a while back and gave us a copy of the full front page story that was in the paper. They'd also seen the special that ABC did on the house in 1966.
I have two friends here on the Island who won't set foot past that sidewalk . . .
You can do it . . .you know you can !
I dropped you a note . . . looking forward to catching up.
I was telling the story of the day we got nailed by the cops . . .

I dunno. It looks like an inviting place to me...
It would be interesting to hear the story that makes people steer clear, however...

IT's a long story . . . but one funny element you'd enjoy. . .
Mike Lombardi, the local NYC Harley-Davidson dealer who's family has been selling bikes since they had the original Indian dealership, won't even set foot in the drive.
When he used to drop Buell packages off he'd stop at the sidewalk and toss the box in the drive.
When my wife bought the house . . .she needed to do a LOT of work to it. She called a couple of contractors . . discussed the work . . . "no problem. . what's the address?" . . CLICK.
She ended up getting contractors from Brooklyn.
You;d love the place B.

Here's a newspaper article that Court once shared with us.
When I first saw it, I laughed hysterically for about ten minutes.
