Mike:

There is an entire write up on here about the installation. It's neat, simple and works great. Allows me to shed load and make choices between the aux lighting and the lidar/radar jamming function.

I don't sweat it much but I know when I see amber I need to think about dropping something offline long enough before shutting down to allow the battery to charge.

Jeremy (FtBsrrd) wrote the article and it's well done.

Wonder how this would work on an 1125? Charging system service bulletin has me a little spooked.

Not needed, they have a digital volt meter available on the ODIS display, plus a battery light too. The XB's have neither.

But if you wanted it wouldn't be hard to hook up. Tap the voltmeter to run off the headlight line or something, drill a small hole in the front fairing support for the LED and be done with it : )

well...hadn't been on the forum in a while and saw "green light" posted under Court in Session. I am so anticipating Erik's next bikes-didn't expect the link to be about an actual "green light"...hoping for a figurative "green light" as in: here goes, Erik's making road bikes again!
