I have owned H-D's for over 10 years and still have one. I am on my 2d Buell (ULY) and LOVE it! I ride my 06 Buell more than my $$ 08 H-D. Based on today I'm not planning repeat business with H-D. I sure hope Erik can keep building those fantastic machines otherwise I'll just keep the ULY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel very sorry for Erik and the entire Buell staff as I have attended the homecoming a couple times and they are some of the nicest, most dedicated workers I have met! | ||

Yup I feel the same way about HD dumping the Buell brand. Watching the video was gut wrenching and I'm new to the Buell brand. Regardless of what has happened I still feel obligated and wanting to pass my thanks to any and all who have contributed to creating my Uly. Sam | ||

I can't respond to all the threads tonight . . I HAVE to respond to this one. I know how Erik rose to the occasion for the American Servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan. It would be absolutely wonderful if folks would send TWO cards. One to Erik. Thank you court from all of us!! Ill be getting my cards tomorrow and sending them promptly, i can assure you that the remainder of Erik's free time will be fiiled with reading our cards!! Send the good stuff to Erik and the Elves... Don't forget to send HD corporate (you know the guys who only want to sell old cruisers designs, chrome and death head skulls) a piece of your mind. I just wrote my letter to Erik...something I've meant to do for a long time, it's a shame I had to wait till now. I'm also gonna get a card and maybe a picture of me and Ashley with our Buells for the Elves. I'll send them out this afternoon. If it gets lost with an outpouring of letters I couldn't be happier. Just made a couple of cards- the front was a pic taken from a ride down in NC, a hand written note, and inside was a pic of our 2 bikes from a recent camping trip up north. They will go out today. Thanks for the info, giving us an avenue to express gratitude for heart and soul put in, and sorrow for their loss. Court, any chance you can take a pic of all the card that show up and get posted? Could be kinda cool to see. | ||

I placed two cards in the Mailbox outside of the 2799 building. I couldn't get the cards to squeeze through the door. I don't know if they got them or not. One was to Erik, and one was to the Elves. I sure hope they got them. | ||
