Court,

See this thread at advrider: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49 4433

Guy in Australia really likes XB12XT. Dealers (more than one) tell him luggage is optional and is $2200 extra. Buell Australia website clearly states the luggage is standard: "We made standard all the things you'd end up spending money on anyway, like side and top cases, heated grips and a tall windscreen."

Is the website wrong or are multiple dealers trying to stiff this guy?

Unless they changed it for 2010, luggage is optional. Something about it not passing AU regulations.

I tried getting on to ADVRIDER and don't recall my password. Have him call Morgan & Wacker and just ask. I think Froggy is right.

Meantime . . . I'll be checking the website.

I've emailed Glenn at Morgan & Wacker to confirm luggage is optional, and if it's always been this way. Sounds right to me, and I think the old buell.com showed it as optional.

I've registered on advrider and will try and contact Dazkeys.

Court, if you talk to anybody about mods to Buell.com, I also noticed on the Australian site that if you go into the "2009 lineup" and go into "specifications" for each model, it shows up the U.S. price (waaaaaaay cheaper than rrp). 2010 models say "see your dealer" or similar for pricing.

Just got advice from Glenn at Morgan & Wacker:

"Hi Graham
The 2009 XB12XT are $17900-00 on road.

Yes, I believe that 2010 model XB12XT will come with the Panniers & Top Box as standard fitment.

They did NOT come with the Bags or Top Box last year.

Pricing on the 2010 models is NOT out as yet.

Cheers Glenn"

I will pass this on to Dazkeys when my registration is approved on advrider, unless someone feels like passing it on first.
