would be cool if it had a forum on it too, were owners could possibly interact with folks from Buell. we are the ultimate feedback system for what is liked and disliked\ works/dont work. that would be groundbreaking to say the least. | ||

It sure would be nice if they maintained the owners section better. I would like to see them contact the owner clubs to see if they are still active and remove dead links. Since they can send out email to everyone that is logged on they could also send out updates when a Buell club or group is added. It might help let local members know when a club is activated. I go through it about once a month and see new stuff and one of these days I will count the dead links. Don't get me wrong. I am happy to have it and think the fact that they DO have Buell groups on the site is great. I will speculate that more than a few people make purchase decisions based on a companies web site if they have never had exposure to that company before. | ||

I just did a survey of the Buell Owner Groups that are listed on the Buell.com site. Here is what I found. 5 Bad Links out of 35 links. there are a total of 72 groups listed. I know at least one site (not part of the 5 bad links) that has not been maintained in several years but I did not spend a lot of time on the other sites and I cannot get to myspace pages and assumed those are good. I do know of one email that is bad from the BRAG days. A few sites are linked to HD dealerships and I noticed a few using the Yahoo Group function and one using Google but I could not get to that one. I do not think it is as bad as I thought. Frank | ||

Court Is there an address at BMC, either snail or e-mail, to which a Buell owner can send his thoughts or constructive observations? Not to have a dialog but to just pass some thoughts or observations on operational issues with bikes or sales and such. |
