I asked a professor of civil engineering how MO Ozark roads got twisty enough to break a snake's back. Indian trails, he advised me, became cow paths, became wagon roads, became car roads with some oil for dust control, and now evolved to the amazing twists through the hollers. We've a farm near French Village, same family since 1890, with maps showing "Dug Road" (hand dug road, by golly) wrapping around a knob and finally supplanted with Highway Y, saving a 1/4 mile detour and a good chance of flying into the forest. Missed all three "First Annuals." 'member, ya'll, the Ozarks are in the center of the country when you plan a rally.

That's not it, the S2, but decent, nonetheless.

>>>the Ozarks are in the center of the country when you plan a rally.

Hehehehe. . . but the Ozarks consumed 9 Buells in a single day.

Testosterone, a years worth of pent up internet rivalry and performance motorcycles don't mix well on highly technical roads.

But . . it was fun and I had the founder of R.O.B.E. here in the USA to spend a week of riding Buells with me.

Maybe a St. Loo to Eureka Springs Rallye, with a day pass to Silver Dollar City for first place and a three day pass for 2nd place.

Riders and Owners of Buell in Europe

That's correct. Mr. Graeme Ware, now living in San Francisco. I still have some of the publications.

It was about the same time that Alison, one of the cuter things Britain has ever provided the USA, was starting the first (in the new company) Buell Owners Club in Marietta, GA.

What. . . you don't remember?

No, I was out of town. You may have answered this elsewhere, but did the very last RR1200 have a 5 spd? Djinkuya (Polish for thanks).

No.

The first five speed was the RS-1200/5 in 1991.
