The construction worker in you must tear up a little when the engineer states that "its nice to look at it, but its all gotta go".

That's funny . . . .

Don't get too concerned however . . . . the Empire State Building went from the first shovel in the ground to tenats in offices in something like 14 months. The World Trade Center has been 8 years and they are still arguing about what kind of building, the memorial budget is at $2,000,000,000 and no one is quite sure who owns the site.

They should make the pothole a national park.
